Star Park House Wasserkuppe

A very special highlight, not only for stargazers and lovers, are the two star park houses on the Wasserkuppe.

Overnight guests can open the roof directly above the bed, like an observatory, and enjoy the view of the exceptionally clear starry sky.

But the other houses in the Wasserkuppe holiday village also offer great views as far as the Thuringian Forest through large panoramic windows.

The Rhön: Star Park

The UNESCO Rhön Biosphere Reserve was recognized as an International Dark Sky Park by the International Dark-Sky Association (IDA) in August 2014 at the request of ARGE Rhön.

The region offers excellent opportunities for stargazers and astrophotographers.
